FIVE Validation Reaffirms Its Social Commitment
Supporting the Pastoral do Menor de Sorocaba, Brazil, voluntarily, strengthening initiatives that generate positive social impact in the community.
In the first quarter of 2025, FIVE Validation, reaffirming its commitment to giving back to society, established a partnership with the Pastoral do Menor de Sorocaba, a non-profit organization focused on supporting children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability.
Serving over 1,000 children and teenagers daily in after-school programs, the Pastoral — as the organization is affectionately known — has, for more than 23 years, promoted and organized, through the Associação Bom Pastor, initiatives such as shelter, meals, music classes, emotional intelligence workshops, and activities aimed at empowering children. Its mission is clear: to help each child reframe their reality and build a new path for their future.
After an initial virtual meeting with the administrative manager and communications coordinator of the Pastoral do Menor de Sorocaba, FIVE Validation’s directors visited the organization in early May. They were warmly welcomed at the administrative headquarters by its board members, staff, and volunteer supporters, who shared the history of the institution built over more than two decades. During the visit, they received a book written by the organization’s president, describing the daily reality of both the children assisted and the dedicated team behind the Pastoral. A commitment was also made to visit the Centros Educacionais Comunitários (Community Educational Centers – CECs). It was a moving and gratifying experience.
Following this, FIVE Validation’s directors visited two of the nine CECs located in underprivileged neighborhoods of Sorocaba, in the state of São Paulo. The communications representative of the Pastoral accompanied them. What followed was truly touching — the joy in the children’s eyes, their smiles, and the many affectionate hugs expressed a genuine sense of gratitude for being seen and cared for. The dedication and commitment of each staff member at the CECs were clearly reflected in the children’s reactions.
In light of all this, FIVE Validation recognizes that the work carried out by the Pastoral do Menor de Sorocaba deserves the utmost respect, admiration, and support from society. The company, therefore, reaffirms its social commitment by supporting this non-profit organization in its mission to raise funds, increase visibility, and build new partnerships.
